So enjoyed the food at Shrewsbury, as usual, and trying to repeat the mushroom, new potato and broccoli bake as I write. Yours was so good if I come anywhere near I will be delighted. Thanks. Admin reply: Hi Judith its really easy dish to cook, Gently fry onion with galicuntil soft , add mushrooms, cook for another 5 mins add some cream .at this point I over season the dish add blanched Broc ,place the hot cooked baby mids in a ovenproof dish, stir in the broc mix ,cover wth a good cheese ,and bake in the oven until golden brown. always treat your ingredients with care and respect As always it was great fun cooking at Shresbury Folk Rgds Hugh Jones

Thanks for letting three soaking wet lads into your bed and breakfast in Montgomery and greeting us with warm tea and cake. One of the most welcome full english breakfasts of our lives! and without your help and advice we wouldn't of made it much further down Offa's Dyke. Admin reply: IT had been raining all day and when I opened my front door to find you guys wet and cold ,I simply had to help you on your way, It was great to host you and I really enjoyed having you to stay, Rgds Hugh and Jill

Hello Hugh, That was a memorable English breakfast we had during our stay in Montgomery at your B&B place when walking the Offa's Dyke Path. Whilst Gill was preparing an excellent breakfast we had some great laughs. Keep on practising your Dutch "gs" and don't mention the war! Best cappuccino we had in Wales! All the best, Rob van Zoelen & Co
